Kenny McPeek or Ken is the son of horse owner Ron McPeek. He is settled in Lexington with his wife Sue and daughter Jennifer Lynne.

Notes:
McPeek is a second generation racehorse trainer. His father Ron McPeek, a horse breeder by profession , was his first client. After Ken received a Degree in Business from the University of Kentucky in 1984, he stepped in the domain of Thoroughbr ed horse racing. He got his trainer's license in 1985. He got his first break from Roy Monroe. Roy Monroe's son Brian used to play High School Football with Ken. It was Monroe who introduced Ken with some quality horses. He is best known for Tejano Run that came second in 1995 Kentucky Derby. Tejano Run came third in the Juvenille Breeder's Cup in 1994. He won 2000 and 2001 Alcibiades Stakes in Keeneland. Most successful thoroughbr ed horses that McPeek ever trained is Take Charge Lady. He has won over 80 stakes in his career with 30 graded wins.
