Notes: Unbridled was a popular thoroughbr ed racehorse of the North American origin. It was by Fappiano out of Gana Facil. After posting a great career record, Unbridled retired with a career record of eight wins six places and six shows in an overall twenty-fou r starts. At two in 1989, Unbridled won the ‘What A Pleasure Stakes’ and made a record by winning the third place in all the six races. At three he snatched winning titles in the Grade I Florida Derby and the Kentucky Derby comprehens ively. Though he finished second in the Preakness Stakes, his performanc e in the next race was not up to his popularity . In the Belmont Stakes he became fourth next to Irish colt – Go And Go. Eventually , he won the prestigiou s Eclipse Award as Champion 3-year-old male of 1990. He started his four year old season with a big win in the Deputy Minister Handicap at Gulfstream Park and was placed second just behind Summer Squall in the Fayette Handicap. Interestin gly, he has sired at least one winner in each of the American Triple Crown races.
